Lauren in the kitchen with her daughter on her shoulders
Who cooks
“Playful, smart, loving, inspired — that was Billie. That's the standard the food gets held to.”

Lauren started out as a bakery owner in Kansas City — a business built so she could spend more of her days with her daughter, Billie. Before food, she spent ten years in food tech helping restaurants build an online presence and ordering system.

Billie passed away in 2024. The kitchen carries her name, and she's in everything we do. The cooking follows the same principle as the sourdough it started with: whole foods, minimal ingredients, and naturally processing.
